18th Annual Greening of the Garden
Make plans to attend the 18th Annual Greening of the Garden benefiting the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. Scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th from 5:30 - 9:30 pm and hosted by Honorary Chairs Nancy and Dick Trammel.
This unique outdoors gala, under a giant tent on the Great Lawn, is the Garden's signature fundraising event of the year. This year it features a Cajun dinner catered by Cafe Rue Orleans and Maudie Schmitt. Both live and silent auctions will include a variety of donated items such as original art, trips, gift certificates, and even special chef-catered meals in local gardens.
Custom birdhouses made by "local celebrity" friends of the Garden will also be display and up for auction. Dancing to a jazz band will be the evening's nightcap.
This year's "All that Jazz, New Orleans at the Garden" theme will include jazz entertainment and evoke the feeling of being in the Quarter. With the notes of soft ambient jazz floating through the air, ensuring a magical evening in the Garden for all who attend.
Mix and mingle with friends, peruse the fine items up for auction, enjoy fabulous eats and drinks, stroll the stunningly beautiful Garden grounds, and most importantly come out to support the Botanical Garden, a true gem of the Ozarks.
Tickets are $75 each, and tables seating 10 guests are available for $900. Host committee and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
New Orleans funky casual attire is suggested.
