2013 Writers Festival and Book Fair
This popular annual event draws hundreds of budding and experienced writers eager to develop their craft. Organized by the Bloomington Literary Council with support from Bloomington Theatre and Art Center, the Writers' Festival offers participants a chance to sit down and talk about writing with published authors and browse through a free book fair. The event also includes workshops, and panel discussions that take writers through all phases of writing, publication, and promotion.
The annual Writers' Festival and Book Fair is the product of thousands of volunteer hours and year-round planning under the capable leadership of Kate Pettit, Bloomington Literary Council chairperson. BTAC gratefully acknowledges the service of Kate and the many other volunteers who provide this event for our community.
