27th Annual Firefly Art Fair
The Firefly Art Fair is one of the premier outdoor art festivals in greater Milwaukee. Firefly presents over 90 juried artists, representing an ecletic array of art from a variety of media.
- Artwork includes paintings, photography, jewelry, woodworking, and many other categories.
- A collection of vintage hats will be on display inside the house.
- Enjoy grilled sandwiches, icy cold beverages, and a variety of homemade treats at the fair.
SALES
- All proceeds from the sale of art work goes to the artists.
- Each artist is responsible for collecting and reporting all applicable taxes (5.6%.)
PUBLICITY
The Firefly Art Fair is widely publicized through paid advertising, news releases, public service announcements, posters, and personal mailings and social media. WHS offers a link to your website. The Firefly committee works diligently to ensure an event that is successful for theartists and the sponsoring organization. To advertise your booth at the Firefly Art Fair, we will provide you with an electronic version of our Firefly Art Fair promotional materialsthat you may send to your patrons.
ELIGIBILITY
Applications are welcomed from artists who exhibit fine art (painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, printmaking, glass, paper, leather, wood). All work must be the original design of, and executed by, the entrant. Jewelers are asked to note materials used in their work on the application. Demonstrations by artists are encouraged.
