Starting in 1979 with 902 participants, the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic has long been a New Orleans tradition and leading fitness event in Louisiana. Described as the original "party race," our 10k, held the Saturday before Easter, attracts over 20,000 runners, walkers, and partiers each year.

Today, the CCC has expanded to include 3 more races: the CC Bridge Run, a 4-mile race across the Mississippi River; the Fall Classic, a 5k qualifier for the Classic; and the Celebration in the Oaks Run*Walk, a unique 2-mile run through the Christmas light show in City Park.

All CCC events are produced by the Crescent City Fitness Foundation, a not-for-profit entity whose sole purpose is to promote health, fitness, and a better lifestyle for the people of the New Orleans metropolitan area.
