38th Pittsburgh Antiques Show & Sale
The antiquing world will soon assemble once again for the 38th Pittsburgh Antiques Show & Sale! Mark those calendars, because on February 16 and 17, 2013, over 40 of Pennsylvania's finest antique dealers will join antique-related demonstrations and regional museums and historic societies, to partake in the antiquing and educational event of the season!
The Show will be held at the beautiful and easily accessible Crowne Plaza Hotel, located at 164 Fort Couch Road, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's South Hills. This year's dealers offer a fine array of merchandise including artwork, furniture, lamps and lighting, ephemera, Early American pattern glass, pottery, art glass, primitives, toys, books, vintage clothing, silver and silverplate, linens, and jewelry, to mention but a few of the many choices available!
As a special addition to this year's show - a wonderful display of animals on glass - entitled The Victorian Glass Menagerie 1850 - 1910 - will be highlighted!
Representing some of the most whimsical and endearing images that have ever been produced in glass, the display will surely delight the animal lover in all of us! As a special tie-in to this wonderful display, the Show's sponsor, the Historical Glass Club of Pittsburgh, will donate a portion of the proceeds of this event to local animal rescue organizations. So please, come out and enjoy a wonderful weekend of antiquing and support a very worthy cause in the process!
See you at the Show!
