53rd Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts
Now in its 53rd year, the Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts will be held the last weekend in February on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-24, 2013. Admission and parking are free.
See the galleries of invitational artists, plus demonstrations throughout the church grounds and the Arts & Crafts Boutique. Enjoy entertainment and the Starving Artist Café. Free children's art workshops are held on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Nearly 200 artists will be exhibiting, and in many cases demonstrating, every type of art, covering a wide spectrum: watercolor and oil paintings, sculpture, hand-woven items, photography, mixed media, ceramics, pottery, stained glass, woodworking, mixed media and handcrafted jewelry.
Created 53 years ago as a community outreach project to celebrate all the arts, the popular festival is now also one of the premier juried art shows in the West.
