Craft Markets
Flint Handmade hosts two craft markets every year at The Masonic Temple in Downtown Flint. The Spring Craft Market is the first Saturday in May and is a first come, first serve vending opportunity to support the craft businesses of our generous members. The Holiday Craft Market is the Saturday after Thanksgiving in November and is a juried show open to all crafters.
2011 Holiday Craft Market at the Masonic Temple
The Craft Markets feature 45 vendors with a large variety of unique, modern handmade items such as original illustrations, screen-printed shirts for adults and kids, reconstructed jewelry, knit and crocheted goods, hand-poured candles, natural bath and beauty products, plush toys and much more.
- The first 25 shoppers of the day receive free goodie bags filled with vendor coupons, merchandise, and other treats.
- The Temple Dining Room inside The Masonic Temple is open for sit-down and take-out lunches during the Craft Markets.
- Admission is $1. Kids 12 and under are free!
- The Masonic Temple is located at 755 S. Saginaw Street in Downtown Flint, MI 48502.
About us
Flint Handmade is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization encouraging creative expression and commerce in Downtown Flint through handcrafting. We host two large indie craft markets every year, operate a small handmade consignment shop housed in a local restaurant, organize two craft supply swaps every year, offer free monthly educational craft workshops, host a twice monthly knitting/crocheting group and participate in a variety of community events.
We are proud to be participating in the artistic, educational and cultural revitalization of Flint!
