In conjunction with National Engineer Week, February 17-23, Burritt is hosting an exhibit showcasing Alabama's entrepreneurial and inventive spirit. Ranging from the late 1800s to today, our displays will include an interesting assortment of inventions created in Alabama or by people from Alabama. Many items are novel, many have found their way into modern devices and many are just plain fun. This exhibit is included in general admission.
Spanning the late 19th through 20th centuries, displays will include an interesting assortment of inventions that were created by Alabamians, born her or well-connected to the state. Many items are novel, many have found their way into modern devices & many are just plain fun.
