Welcome to the Bank of America City Center! As one of New England's most popular winter destinations, we offer a fun, family activity at an affordable price. The 14,000-square-foot skating rink is twice the size of Rockefeller Plaza's ice rink in New York City!
LEARN TO SKATE
Sharpen up those skates and Learn to Skate at the Bank of America City Center this winter. The Bank of America City Center offers your choice of Saturday or Sunday morning classes which run for 6 weeks.
The 2012/2013 season schedule of classes:
- Admission is continuous throughout the season.
- Saturday Mornings, 10-11am, 6 weeks:
- Session II: 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16
- Session III: 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16
- Sunday Mornings, 10-11am, 6 weeks:
- Session II: 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/17
- Session III: 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17
Class Structure:
- 10am - 10:30am lesson
- 10:30am - 11:30am practice time
- Note: Helmets and gloves are required for beginners.
Please note:
- Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- Free helmets are available for use at rink upon request.
- Skate rentals range in size from toddler 8 to men's 13 and are offered on a first come, first serve basis.
- Locker rental is available for $1 (along with an $10 as collateral until return of locker key).
- Skate sharpening is available for $5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm - 8pm.
- Feinstein Cards may be used 1 time per month each season - free admission for one adult and one child with payment of $4 skate rental.
- Thursdays 1/2 ice available between 4:00pm to 5:00pm to accommodate for Skate for Joy programming.
