I've been so busy working on barcrawler.net that I really haven't had the time or I suppose the need to blog.. interesting, however perhaps I'll make a little time to get back into it. Have you ever had your ass handed to you by your 5 year old son in a fighting game? Well, I just did.. I don't understand it, how can someone who can't even make his own macaroni and cheese kick my butt so many freakin times? I mean, I grew up during the era when video games were hitting mainstream - they were simple things, like Donkey Kong, Excite Bike, Spy Hunter and Hunt the Wumpus - now I'm so busy staring at the screen because of all the mind numbing graphics.. that's gotta be it - alright, time to break out my Amiga and show this kid what it's like to get 0wn3d 0ld sk00l! Yeah!
I just got back from Guitar Center and am now the proud owner of a Behringer UB1204-FX Pro! It's not the greatest mixer in the world, however it's perfect for what we need - just some good old live mixing and recording. I'm also going to use it tonight to control the rest of my equipment for karaoke - which reminds me, if anyone is in the area and feels like stopping by Bube's Brewery tonight we'd love to have you - it's karaoke night hosted by yours-truly. (I know, I'm such a ****ing sell-out aren't I?) Anyway, starts around 9pm and goes till I get sick of it.. L8r. :)
