Both in 2008 and 2009, we were voted in the top 10 farmers markets in the country. We were voted by Eating Well Magazine as one of the top 5 farmers markets in the country. We won the Austin Chronicle's Best of 2007, 2008 and 2010 Reader's Poll ‘Best Farmers Market' and their 2006 award for ‘Best Food Court.' Greenling Organic Delivery , one of our sponsors and a vendor at the market, won Best Local Food Company for the second year in a row.

Wolfgang Puck has endorsed this market when we were known as the SVFM. and we were ranked as one of the top 10 Farmers Markets in the country (along with Madison, Santa Fe, Ithaca, and Ferry's Plaza) by the Audubon Society. In 2005, Pamela Boyar, the market manager, received the Farmers Market Manager of the Year from the North American Farmers Direct Marketing Association.

The Barton Creek Farmers Market cultivates both economic growth and community health by providing a weekly, open-air market in an urban setting. Our vendors sell only what they grow or produce. We bring the heart and soul of Texas growers and manufacturers directly to you!
