Bryan Adams ‘Exposed’ Photography Exhibition at Oklahoma Contemp

For the past 12 years, musician Bryan Adams has sharpened his skills as a professional photographer by capturing intimate images of friends and colleagues in the entertainment, fashion and art industries.

In October, Adams released a comprehensive retrospective of his photographic work in a book titled, "Exposed." The exhibition premieres at the Oklahoma Contemporary with an opening reception on Tuesday, February 26, 5:30pm-7:30pm and will run through Friday, May 17, 2013.

Portraits in the exhibition include a cross-section of international celebrities and emerging stars such as Danny Trejo, Victoria Beckham, Lindsay Lohan, Amy Winehouse, Mickey Rourke, Lana Del Rey, Natalia Vodianova, Pink, Mick Jagger, Sean Penn, Queen Elizabeth II, Sir Ben Kingsley and South African rave rapper Yo-Landi Visser.

History

Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, formed in 1989 by Christian Keesee and Kirkpatrick Foundation Director Marilyn Myers, is a non-profit organization committed to providing the community with quality, accessible and affordable arts programming and education. Through corporate funding and private donations, Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center is able to educate Oklahomans through adult classes and workshops, art camps for local youth, art exhibitions, lectures, and film nights. Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center was the recipient of the first grant ever awarded by the Kirkpatrick Family Fund and plays a key role in the development of Oklahoma City's visual arts landscape.
