Columbia SC Marathon
On Friday, March 8 more than 50 exhibitors will offer free samples, showcase the latest in running gear, sports apparel, health & nutritional information and much more. You'll also receive special pricing for those last minute pre-race purchases!
The first-class Health & Fitness Expo will allow you to market and sell your services to an estimated 5,000-7,000 runners and walkers, running enthusiasts and their family, friends, and guests. The Health & Fitness Expo will take place at the Columbia Downtown Marriott, which is the host hotel.
Free Admission - Open to the public
The Fleet Feet Sports Pace Team will have pacers for the following finishing times: 3:05, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, 5:00, 5:30 and 6:00 Each pacer will be wearing a bright yellow "Fleet Feet Sports" logoed Columbia SC Marathon "Official Pacer" shirt. There will be a Pace Team table at the Fleet Feet Sports booth in the Expo. Although not required, if you plan to run with a pacer, we'd like for you to sign-up under the appropriate pace group in the Fleet Feet Sports booth at the Expo so each pacer has an idea of how many runners to expect.
Drop Bags
A drop bag service will be available for all runners at the finish line. Marathon Relay runners will also have drop bags available at the exchange zones. More information will be provided as we get closer to race day.
Post-Race
Post race food will consist of mini bagels, apples, bananas, yogurt and granola bars.
Awards
Award ceremonies will take place near the finish line. TImes and details will be announced in the near future.
Parking
There is ample parking available for runners, volunteers, expo attendees and spectators. Anyone staying at our host hotels are already parked and at the start/finish. Most other downtown hotels are within a 10-15 minute walk. For those driving into Columbia, detailed parking instructions will be posted in the near future.
