Country Fall Festival
One of the main festivals hosted by the Farm Museum is the Country Fall Festival. This festival is a good-harvest celebration.
Making Apple butter
Apple butter and cider are produced during the fall festival and offered for sale on the grounds.
Making Sorghum
Each year the Museum raises a patch of cane. It is cut and processed into sorghum molasses on the grounds. In the scene above, volunteers keep the liquid moving along and skim off plant material residue from the squeezing process. A pile of already squeezed cane can be seen in the background. The finished product, molasses, is sold in the Country Store while still warm.
