CREW 11th Annual Wildflower Festival

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

Join us for this signature CREW event. Friday night's presentation will be given by Glen Stacell and Gary Schmelz, authors of A Guide to Native Wildflowers of Southwest Florida.

Our Saturday hikes are led by some of the best wildflower and butterfly experts in south Florida, including Roger Hammer, Glen Stacell & Dr. Gary Schmelz, Sally Stein, Nick Bodven & Robin Gardner, Dr. David Cooper, Chad Washburn, Tom & Jennifer Hecker, and FGCU students David Shepard and Ariel Chomey. A special photography walk will be led by CREW volunteer, George Luther.

We will have special hikes for families with children which includes a scavenger hunt and making of a SunPrint art project. We also have awesome exhibitors from environmental and flower-related organizations, games, prizes, a bee dance, and special presentations throughout the day.

Food will be available for purchase, thanks to the Corkscrew Country Store.

Admission to the festival grounds is FREE and includes exhibits, demonstrations, presentations, food vendors, and special kids' activities.

Expert botanists and naturalists lead guided hikes for the public. Guided hikes require a fee and pre-registration. Register for one of our many guided hike experiences (select from the drop-down menu to see the hikes and ticket prices for each time slot).
