BENEFITING
At the Dallas Center for Architecture, we work to advance architecture through education and collaboration. We seek to foster the public's understanding of the power of architecture to enrich our city and our lives through the scholarships, programs, exhibits and tours that the Center presents. We offer regular walking tours of downtown, exhibitions on the architecture of our region and beyond, a monthly film series and other special programs designed to get people talking about the power of architecture and design in our lives. We also support architecture students at the high school and university level with more than $10,000 in scholarships and traveling fellowships annually.
The Center is home to a variety of professional organizations allied with architecture and design, including AIA Dallas, the Dallas Architecture Forum, International Interior Design Association-Texas/Oklahoma Chapter, Urban Land Institute North Texas, North Texas Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, and the Woodall Rogers Park Foundation.
Founded by AIA Dallas in 2008, the Dallas Center for Architecture-located at 1909 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, just north of the Dallas Arts District is open weekdays to visitors. The Center is also available for rental for business and special events
We are a Founding Member of AAO, the Association of Architecture Organizations.
