Easter Bunny Fun Day is a family fun filled day where each child will get an Easter Egg containing a surprise, and a small craft to create. Around the Museum will be face painting, tattoos, train tables to play at, bubble tables, and of course the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny will be around visiting with everyone, so don't forget your camera!

Ride the trolley cars, enjoy a film on trains and trolleys in the theater, and shop for souvenirs in the gift shop. Spend a relaxing day with the family at the Trolley Museum and get rid of that cabin fever!

The History and Evolution of the Electric Trolley and Its Impact on Society

The Connecticut Electric Railway Association, Inc. is the owner and operator of the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Founded in October 1940, it is the nation's oldest incorporated organization dedicated to the preservation of the trolley era.

As a non-profit institution, its educational and historical aim is the establishment of a full scale operating street and interurban railroad system with the appropriate accessory equipment and buildings, to recreate an important phase of New England's business and social life from 1890 to 1949.
