EGGstravaganza
The City of Deltona's Parks & Recreation Department will host the annual EGGstravaganza event with the the largest egg hunt, with over 25,000 eggs and the event takes place in March 23rd from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, 1200 Saxon Blvd. (Parents: DON'T BE LATE.) Our Bunny starts the activities on time! EGGstravaganza is the fastest annual event conducted by the City. The egg "hunting" typically lasts just over 10 minutes and the festivities and entertainment continues until noon keeping all the kids interested.
The egg hunting is for children ages 2 to 10. "Hunters" will be divided into three age categories and should bring their own baskets for gathering eggs. Eggs will be loaded with candy, small toys and some will be specially marked for prizes. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be available for picture time after all the eggs have been found so parents bring your cameras.
