Feast with the Felines

This event gives guests the chance to watch the world's fastest land animal demonstrate their breathtaking skills in a specially designed running course. Called ‘Feast with the Felines' the event will give guests the chance to enjoy brunch prepared by White Oak's master chefs at the beautiful riverside pavilion situated along a scenic stretch of the St. Mary's river or at the Great Hall located in the amazing Big Game Room. "If you've never seen a cheetah sprint before, it's an experience you won't soon forget," said Stephanie Rutan, guest relations manager for the conservation center. After the cheetah experience, guests will be given an abbreviated tour to view some of the other species that call White Oak home. Guests can combine the Feast with the Felines event with an overnight stay in one of White Oak's distinctive guest houses to create a weekend to remember.

Times: Brunch begins at 11:00 a.m.
Price: $150 per person

On our Sunset Safari guests join wildlife staff for a tour of the wildlife area as the sun sets and the animals are most active. Evening is the perfect time for photographs, and the tour's open-air trolleys provide a great view to capture the magic of White Oak at sundown.

After the tour, guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and a gourmet dinner in one of White Oak's beautiful dining areas- the beautifully appointed Great Hall formal dining room or the outdoor Pavilion located along a scenic stretch of the St. Marys River.
