FLW Walmart Bass Fishing Tournament
The world's premier bass-fishing tournament circuit.
Since 1996, the Walmart FLW Tour has represented the highest level of tournament bass fishing in the FLW hierarchy. The season consists of six tournaments where as many as 150 pros and as many co-anglers compete for as much as $125,000 and $25,000, respectively, per tournament. The top pro and co-angler from the point standings after the six qualifying tournaments win the FLW Tour Angler of the Year and Co-angler of the Year titles, respectively.
The top 35 pros and co-anglers from the point standings after the six qualifying tournaments qualify for the 2013 Forrest Wood Cup. If a top-35 angler has already qualified for the 2013 Forrest Wood Cup, the next person in the point standings will be invited.
The 2013 FLW Tour Angler of the Year and Co-angler of the Year and 2013 Forrest Wood Cup pro and co-angler champions qualify for the 2014 Forrest Wood Cup provided they compete in all the 2014 FLW Tour events (Pros must fish the pro division. Co-anglers may fish the pro or co-angler division). If the 2013 FLW Tour Angler of the Year, Co-angler of the Year or Forrest Wood Cup pro or co-angler champion does not compete in 2014, their entry in the 2014 Forrest Wood Cup will go to the 2014 FLW Tour pro or co-angler with the highest point total who is not already qualified for the Forrest Wood Cup.
The top 100 pros and co-anglers from the 2013 FLW Tour receive priority entry for the 2014 season. The top 10 co-anglers in the final point standings in the 2013 FLW Tour have the option of moving to the pro side in 2014.
