FREE College Financial Planning Night

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

Because college is not a dream, it's a plan!

Please join us for a FREE Educational College Financial Planning workshop that will focus on high school freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors. We'll discuss the FAFSA form and all the other information you need to understand in order to maximize the amount of financial aid you are eligible to receive! Even if your family is not eligible for need-based aid, we will cover the best strategies on how to pay for college on the most tax efficient basis-without it putting a strain on the rest of your finances.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • How to increase your tax deductions and tax credits
  • How to pick colleges that will give you the best financial aid packages.
  • How to send your child to an expensive private university for less than a state school.
  • Which assets are taken into consideration when the U.S. Department of Education calculates your Family Contribution.
  • How to pay for college in a failing economy without relying on 529 plans, expensive private student loans or raiding your retirement accounts.
  • How to get ahead by developing a customized plan to meet all the college costs you will incur as a family.
  • How to lower your "out-of-pocket" costs and get the maximum amount of money from each school.
  • And much, much, more!

About Us

Michael Lee Weber, owner of College Funding Solutions of Colorado and graduate of Colorado State University, started his career in financial services in 2010 working for Orange County Brokerage and Insurance Services in Tustin, CA. He worked with agents and clients alike to satisfy their insurance and annuity needs. In November, 2011, he began to switch his focus to on helping families learn how to pay for the high expenses of college without going broke or relying on the volatile stock market.

In January, 2012 he moved back home to Colorado and started College Funding Solutions of Colorado. Since then he has focused his practice on helping families save, in financial vehicles currently sheltered from the FAFSA and PROFILE formulas, for college while not destroying nor neglecting their own ambitions and retirement goals. His plans have allowed many families to lower their Expected Family Contribution and put to rest the uncertainty of market based college savings plans.

At College Funding Solutions of Colorado our goals are:

  1. Help students figure out the best school for their specific needs.
  2. Make sure our students have their best foot forward when applying to college.
  3. Show how much of the actual "Cost of Attendance" families can expect to pay out of pocket.
  4. Utilize legal loop-holes to develop plans to pay for college while keeping the maximum amount of money saved outside of the volatility of the stock market and outside of the view of the FAFSA and PROFILE formulas.
