Friends of the UCA Member Events: Spring Dance Tea

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

Friends of the UCA connects you to students and faculty who inspire, teach, and heal at Colorado State. By giving to any CSU music, theater, or dance fund at the Artist Level ($250) and above, you are invited to join us for fascinating exchanges with faculty and insider access to the University Center for the Arts.

Join us for this annual event showcasing CSU's Ballet Repertory Ensemble, the Tour Dance Company, and selected students work. This year, we are excited to host guest artist Shih Kun-Chen, who will be in residence at CSU from March 1 - April 30 working with dance students. Tea and refreshments will be provided.

In the fall of 2008, the Colorado State University Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance moved into the completed University Center for the Arts (UCA). The state-of-the-art center brings the university's performing and visual arts programs together, opening doors to entirely new avenues in learning and creative expression.

Thanks to the generous support of students, individuals, corporations and foundations, the University Center for the Arts is a reality. However, donor support is an ongoing need, supporting current and future endeavors. Thank you to our supporters who donated an astounding $141,000 in support of 20 music, theater, and dance scholarships, and $499,728 in programmatic support in the 2011 - 2012 season.

We created the Friends of the UCA program to connect you to the music, theatre, and dance students who inspire, teach, and heal in the arts at Colorado State. By giving a gift to any music, theater, or dance program at CSU you become a Friends of the UCA member, joining us in our efforts to create a vibrant performing arts community.
