Tenacious Trees

Learn everything you need to know about trees in our windy, dry climate. Scott will share his inspirational stories about growing and caring for trees and ideas on what trees grow best in Wyoming. Scott Skogerboe earned a degree in horticulture from Colorado State University and has been the head propagator at Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery for the last 16 years, during which time he has grown over three million trees and shrubs.
Embellishing the Garden with Art
Marcia Tatroe, April 20, 1-2:30 p.m.
Garden art can be anything you deem artful--somber or playful, purchased specifically as art or improvised. Whimsy in the garden announces to the world that you have a sense of humor. Marcia Tatroe writes regularly for numerous magazines and newspapers including Sunset Magazine. In her most recent book, Cutting Edge Gardening in the Intermountain West, she advocates using drought-tolerant native plants, indigenous materials and art to create unique gardens.
