The Charlotte Comedy Theater & Training Center is Charlotte's premiere improv comedy theater featuring high energy, interactive improv comedy shows, workshops and classes. CCT was formed over a decade ago by Chicago comedy veteran and corporate trainer, Keli Semelsberger. Since then the CCT has established itself as Charlotte's premier improv comedy theater & training center.
Our expert cast of twisted improvisers provides an audience interactive, improv comedy show similar to "Who's Line is it Anyway?" every weekend for 11 years running.
The Charlotte Comedy Theater has been Featured on MTV, NPR, WGN, TruTV, Fox Charlotte, and has had feature articles in many publications including, but not limited to; The Charlotte Observer, Creative Loafing, Charlotte Magazine, Skirt Magazine, Charlotte Business Magazine, US Air Magazine, The Hearald, Fort Mill Times, Eye Magazine, and Natural Awakenings. In addition to our weekly shows, CCT can be seen performing at private parties, corporate functions, charity events ,Blumenthol Informances, Taste of Charlotte and Charlotte's First Night Celebration. CCT also offers team building workshops and private performances that cater to the individual needs of our clients.
