Jazz Band and Jazz Catz

The highly energetic and entertaining Jazz Band brings top-notch performances of varied repertoire to the Fort Smith area through top student performers at UAFS and world-renowned guest artists. The award-winning Jazz Catz are one of the Fort Smith area's outstanding vocal ensembles, having performed with renowned groups like The Manhattan Transfer and in venues that include Carnegie Hall.

Rosana Eckert is an internationally recognized jazz vocalist, songwriter, arranger, and educator based out of Dallas. She has performed with such jazz greats as Lyle Mays, Kenny Wheeler, Christian McBride, George Duke, and Bobby McFerrin. She toured as a substitute in the Grammy Award-winning vocal quartet New York Voices, and she will now be performing with the UAFS Jazz Band and Jazz Catz on March 29.
