JCAC 20th Annual Juried Art Exhibit 2013
This regional exhibit showcases the best work of artists from a five state area. Paintings, fiber, sculpture and much more. Come join us for the awards and reception ceremony celebrating this show's 20th anniversary.
The Krempp Gallery is a part of the Jasper Arts Center, a multi-purpose community arts center which was established in 1975. The arts center hosts a number of performances in its 675 seat auditorium every year. It also has an active in-school educational outreach program and promotes the visual arts through twelve annual exhibits, workshops and lectures. The Krempp Gallery doubles as a lobby for the Arts Center during major events. The Jasper Community Arts Commission (JCAC)is a Department of the City of Jasper.
Awards
$2,000 in Merit Awards will be presented at the discretion of the Juror.
Juror
This year's juror is Fran Lattanzio. She is an award-winning photographer whose work has been displayed in many galleries and museums. Lattanzio is currently the Professor of Art at Indiana State University, and has taught for more than 38 years. She holds a Master of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan.
Specifications and Restrictions
Work may be two-dimensional or three-dimensional. Size restricted to 72 - 90 inches with a weight limit not to exceed 100 pounds. ALL WORK MUST BE ORIGINAL, COMPLETED WITHIN THE LAST THREE YEARS, FOR SALE AND NOT PREVIOUSLY HUNG IN THE KREMPP GALLERY.
