Come and get a glimpse of how our forefathers lived before the Pioneers came to Utah. The living history camps will have ongoing demonstrations in period firearms, clothing, blacksmithing, leather work, cooking, tanning, horse packing, etc. The camps will be staffed by the American Mountain Men, American Long Rifle Association and Women of the Fur Trade. Come see the best in action!

The West...just as it was! Step back in time with a visit to This Is The Place Heritage Park. Utah's premier living history attraction, come and explore our rugged, fascinating past!

The Park is a favorite venue of tourists and families alike, and also hosts numerous events and activities sponsored by civic, business, community and private organizations. On any given day you may also hear the familiar music of a wedding march, as the Park is a favorite of couples both young and old making their own history! Plan to hold your next retreat or family reunion at the Park, we'd love to have you join us for a day!

Church and civic groups of all denominations have learned valuable lessons about team work and hard work by participating in our handcart trek programs and other youth activities. If you're looking for a service opportunity and don't mind a little dirt on your hands, we can match your plan to a variety of hands-on service projects.

Explore the Park all year long during one of our four Seasons. With dozens of Special Event Days, you'll want to return to the Park again and again. Venture into another time and place!
