Night Sky Sampler

Night Sky Sampler- Your presenter will take visitors on a tour of the current sky, highlighting bright stars, constellations, planets and other points of interest. Each show will have an associated theme that connects these sights together, making them easier for visitors to remember and find on their own.

Shows will be at 8:00 PM at the UNK Planetarium with observing to follow at Seven Hills Observatory (weather permitting).

Tickets are free and will be handed out at the door on a first come basis (one ticket per person). All shows are free-of-charge, however, we will graciously accept any donation of dry or canned goods for a local food pantry.

We provide free educational shows to school groups and private organizations during the Fall and Spring semesters at University of Nebraska at Kearney. Please contact the department office to schedule a show.
