This exhibit features seven artists whose work is informed by photography. Each artist is also a member of Vox Populi, and artist collective gallery that works to support the challenging and experimental work of under-represented artists in Philadelphia, PA.
Photography is source, subject and medium in this exhibition. Though photography is the tie that binds this exhibit together, the multiple strategies employed by these artists reveal a compelling conversation hinging on variance, context, process and experience. Works on disply include site-specific installation, photo-realistic drawing, hologram performance sculpture, computer generated images and large scale photographs.
