Pioneer Doll Making

On Saturday October 19, 2013 the Mormon Battalion Center will hold an activity for the community in the Old Town Plaza. October's activity will be Pioneer Doll Making. This will be a fun activity for the entire family. Bring the entire family and experience and learn how early pioneers made their own toys.

While your in Old Town, don't miss the Mormon Battalion Historic Site and the exceptionally fun and educational experience it provides. The Mormon Battalion Historic Site shares the story of the members of the Battalion as well as the women and the children that accompanied them. Everything is free at the Mormon Battalion Historic Site including a guided tour, old time photograph of your group or family, and panning for gold. The Mormon Battalion Historic Site Building is located on the corner of Juan and Harney Streets in Old Town San Diego.

Take advantage of all the wonderful history and culture represented by the museums and restored buildings throughout Old Town. Enjoy the restaurants and shops and don't forget to visit Heritage Park.
