Salt Lake Antiques Show

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

The Original Salt Lake Antiques Show was founded by Walter Larsen & Associates in the 1970s. Dealers and collectors will remember taking an elevator to an exhibition hall atop a US Post Office to find glorious treasures. From the Midwest to the West Coast, dealers would make Salt Lake City a "must stop" on their show tours In 1998, The Original Salt Lake Antiques Show moved to its present location, South Towne Expo Center in Sandy, Utah.

Nancy Johnson Events Management LLC, based in Denver acquired The Original Salt Lake Antiques Show in October 2011 from Walter Larsen & Associates. The inaugural Show was held a year later to applause from both dealers and the visiting public. As George Harrision so aptly put it "all things must pass". And that included the Walter Larsen "Original Salt Lake Antiques Show". Although the transition to a a new show promoter caused no small amount of angst among antiques dealers and collectors, by the need of the October 2012 Show, no one was questioning whether the show had passed into the right hands. Nancy Johnson delivered an outstanding cadre of antiques dealers from Utah and around the country and wrapped them up in a decidedly upscale venue, treating a hungry crowd of collectors to an antiques wonderland .... (now open on Sunday), it was a treat to see booth after booth wearing its Sunday best."
