That's all about to change when the 2010-11 American League Champion Texas Rangers take on the San Diego Padres in the first-ever baseball games inside this iconic structure. Serving as a final tune-up before the regular season gets underway, H-E-B Big League Weekend promises to bring the thrill and excitement of Major League Baseball to San Antonio.

Ryan-Sanders Baseball and Alamodome officials have worked with AstroTurf, the official Synthetic Turf of Major League Baseball, to design a one-of-a-kind custom field for the Alamodome.
