Silent Sunday returns to South Mountain Park each month in 2013
Cyclists, skate boarders, wheelchair users and stroller-riding tots can now call the roads of South Mountain Park their own one Sunday of each month, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. For each monthly Silent Sunday event, the park's main access roadways are closed to motor vehicles, reserving them for the entire day for non-motorized uses. The event takes place the fourth Sunday of each month in South Mountain Park (except where noted due to holidays*).

Trailhead access sites outside of the park will remain open to vehicles.
