“Sounds of Downtown ~ Tres, Music at Market Square”
"Sounds of Downtown ~ Tres, Music at Market Square" will be held on Saturday - April 13, 2013. Tickets are $10 for general admission. VIP tickets are $40. Sponsorships are available.
An annual event founded in 2011 to benefit worthwhile community non-profit organizations in Brownsville. A festive evening of music, food, fellowship and fun which includes a variety of live performances of local talented musicians and bands. The outdoor "concert" will celebrate and feature the rich cultural aspects of our downtown area at the historic Market Square.
The Sounds of Downtown was founded in 2011 to benefit worthwhile community non-profit organizations in Brownsville. With the proceeds of our third annual event which will be held from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday - April 13, 2013, "Sounds of Downtown ~ Tres, Music at Market Square" has been designated to fund support for the following organizations:
Brownsville Historical Association, Brownsville Children's Museum, Camille Playhouse, CASA, Good Neighbor Settlement House, and Guadalupe Regional Middle School, Sunshine Haven, Inc. The event will be a festive evening of music, food, fellowship and fun which includes a variety of live performances of local talented musicians and bands. The outdoor "concert" will celebrate and feature the rich cultural aspects of our downtown area at the historic Market Square with television personality, Marcy Martinez of Action 4 News as the Emcee.
