Spring Break Camp

This camp will offer a week full of games, sports, arts and crafts and loads of fun. Experience fun-filled spring break with arts & crafts, games and sports. Campers should bring a sack lunch and a drink to camp each day.

Full day fee: $60 Residents/$120 Non-Residents

Half day fee: $30 Residents/$60 Non-ResidentsMcAllen City Commissioners recently granted approval to the Parks & Recreation Department to apply for a Texas Parks and Wildlife grant that would fund the design and construction of a 35-acre motocross park. Officials from the Parks and Recreation Department and members of the Valley International Motocross Association said the park would be built near the intersection of Monte Cristo Rd and Rooth Rd.The citizen group Futuro McAllen recently hosted a candidate forum at the McAllen Public Library for candidates in the upcoming May city election.

Candidates for McAllen Mayor, City Commission Districts 1, 2, 3, and 6 and Public Utility Board Trustees Place, A, C, and D answered questions from Futuro McAllen and from a media panel.
