Summer Arts Festival

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

The annual Omaha Summer Arts Festival, a tradition for over 33 years, fills the streets along downtown Omaha's Gene Leahy Mall with three days of art, music, children's activities, food and more.

Previously selected as Omaha's Best Annual Festival and one of the Top 100 Fine Arts Festivals in the country, the Omaha Summer Arts Festival was named one of 2007's Top 100 Events in North America by the American Bus Association - the only event in Nebraska to receive this honor in 2007. The Omaha Summer Arts Festival, presented by First National Bank, celebrates its 38th year June 8 through 12. The Festival is Omaha's premier destination for arts and entertainment featuring 135 of the nation's finest visual artists, two stages of continuous musical performances and a hands-on Children's Fair.

The Omaha Summer Arts Festival mingles artist booths with sidewalk cafes and local gallery markets enabling festival-goers to artist demonstrations and a wonderful selection of food simultaneously.

The Omaha Summer Arts Festival would not be possible without its wonderful sponsors including First National Bank, WOWT Channel 6, Target and CenturyLink. Please visit the sponsor page to recognize their support and others who make this festival a reality!

The music schedule lined-up for this year is sure to provide a rich multicultural musical experience with diverse musical styles and talents, especially on the CenturyLink World Music Pavilion Main Stage.

In addition, the Festival offers fun for all ages with a fantastic list of children's activities beginning on Saturday of the Festival weekend. Live performances from the Family Entertainment Stage and interactive programming at the Children's Fair are sure to keep even the youngest members of the family entertained for hours.

All this fun and excitement is bound to make any festival-goer hungry! Luckily, the TasteFest offers an incredible variety of food vendors that are sure to please all tastes. Among this year's featured cuisines are Mexican, Greek, barbeque, traditional festival fare, including hamburgers, hotdogs and funnel cakes. And be sure to stop by the Dante cafe for fresh Neapolitan pizza and wine. For a complete list of restaurants and menu options, please click here.
