Charlotte WoodCarvers Club was founded in 1982.
The purpose is:
- To promote the art of woodcarving
- To encourage workshops, seminars, classes and other activities that provide training in woodcarving
- To promote and to provide activities that allow display and exhibit woodcarvings and their creation to the general public for enjoyment and entertainment
- To share and exchange ideas about woodcarving
- To provide fellowship with woodcarvers and those interested in woodcarving.
The Charlotte Woodcarvers Club 2013 Showcase of Woodcarvings will be held February 15th-17th, 2013 at the Marion Diehl Recreation center on Tyvola Rd. and will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday the 16th and 17th.
The Theme for 2013 is "The Wild Wild West". The 2013 Showcase will also be the 30th Anniversary of the Showcase!
