Fans Can Watch the U.S. Women Open the 2013 Schedule on Feb. 9 in Jacksonville, Fla., at 5 p.m. ET

U.S. Women's National team returns to Jacksonville after 17 years to face Scotland on February 9, 2013 at Everbank Field!

The match has already broken the record for a U.S. WNT crowd in Jacksonville, Fla., which was set during the USA's only previous visit on Feb. 4, 1996, when 8,975 turned out at EverBank Field, which was then called Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The USA's 2013 opener will take place almost 17 years to the day after the 1996 match.

The U.S. Women's National Team will start its 2013 schedule in the same state where it will end 2012, facing Scotland on Feb. 9 at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Fla. The match will kick off at 5 p.m. ET, and broadcast information will be released at a later date.

The USA starts its 2013 campaign on Saturday, Feb. 9, at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Fla. with a match that will kick off at 5 p.m. ET. More than 10,000 tickets have been sold.

The clash with Scotland will mark the first official game for new U.S. head coach Tom Sermanni, and in a quirk of scheduling, it will be against his native country. Sermanni, who hails from Glasgow, started his playing career there before moving on to England and then Australia, where he began his long coaching career.
