WOMEN OF WISDOM (WOW)
WOMEN OF WISDOM (WOW) is interdominational fellowship in Christ and Bible study, for women of all ages and backgrounds. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, whatever the season of your life, WOW will provide joyful, fulfilling life experiences to deepen your relationship with God. WOW is centered on God's Word and our relationship to God. WOW's goals: To bring God joy; To bring balance into our lives as women who seek to discover and value who we are in Christ; To provide opportunities for spiritual growth; and To encourage, equip and challenge one another to reach out.
WINTER SESSION (eight weeks) begins January 9, 2013 and continues every Wednesday morning through February 27. Fellowship begins at 8:15 AM, with Opening/Praise & Worship at 8:45 AM. First Hour Bible Teaching (9:15 - 9:45 AM) will be "Bible Study Plain and Simple!" with teacher, Robyn Coffman. Get ready for some good old-fashioned Bible study - with a twist - as we take a fresh look at some of the all-too-familiar Bible stories as well as many lesser-known passages in Scripture. We'll dig in and discover the truth that God desires us to personalize and utilize. Bring a Bible! Choose from ten Second Hour classes, which meet from 9:45 - 11:15 AM. Register in advance for the best selection.
STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
- We believe in the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that an individual is saved through faith alone (Sola Fide), by God's grace alone (Sola Gratia) and revealed to us in God's inerrant word alone (Sola Scriptura).
- We believe that God comes to us through the Means of Grace - His Word and the Sacraments.
- We confess our belief in the Christian creeds - Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed and Athenasian Creed.
